Stella S. Sepa, 93, of Bristol passed away at Bristol Hospital on Monday December 28, 2009.
Stella was born on July 17, 1916 in Suffield, CT a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Wall) Sobjecki.
Mrs. Sepa, a Bristol resident for most of her life, was an avid supporter of the performing arts and was active with many of the OM shows. She played basketball on the New Departure women’s team during World War II and also retired from New Departure.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Sandee and Mark Simpson of Bristol; her son and daughter-in-law, Butch and Patricia Sepa of Bristol; her grandchildren, Kevin O’Reilly of KY, Keith O’Reilly of Shelton, James Sepa of Farmington, Jeffrey Sepa, Joel Sepa and Jennifer Milano all of Bristol; eight great-grandchildren, three great-great-granddaughters and her three nieces, Mary Sobjecki of Wallingford, Sharon Nicoletti of Old Saybrook and Cynthia Wahl of MI.
She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Kim O’Reilly Bowles; and her brothers Walter and Anthony Sobjecki.
