Stella Raissis (nee Pappas), 89 of Holiday City South passed away January 20, 2014 at her daughters home where she was surrounded by love. Stella was born in Manhattan, NY, she lived in Staten Island where she raised her family before moving to Toms River, NJ. Stella was a homemaker.
She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. Stella was married to her husband Christoforos for 62 years until his passing in 2009. Surviving is her daughter and caretaker Peggy DePaolo and her husband Frank, Francine Galietta and her husband Rick, Emily Scotto and her husband Sal, and her six grandchildren Christina, Nicholas, Diana, Christopher, Alexa, and Alyssa and also many loving nieces and nephews.
