Stella H. Klosinski, 97, of Elkhart, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 at East Lake Terrace Assisted Living in Elkhart.
Stella was born on April 19, 1923, in Hamtramck, MI. and married the love of her life, Edwin Klosinski, on April 27, 1946 . Together, they celebrated 54 years of marriage. He preceded her in death in 2000.
In addition to her husband, Edwin, she is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary; son and daughter, David and Karen; and sister, Anna Klapec.
Stella is survived by her daughters, Jan Farron, of Elkhart, Mary Guzik of Royal Oak, MI and Kathy (Fred Compton) Egerton of Houston, TX; and 1 grandson, Loren (Shelley Brown) Guzik of Chicago.
Stella was a co-owner of Ed’s Beer Store in Hamtramck, MI with her husband Edwin for many years and later was employed as an office manager in Sterling Hts., MI. She was a member of the St. Theresa’s Guild in Hamtramck. Stella was an amazing cook, baker and seamstress in her spare time and loved gatherings and parties with family and their many friends. But above all, she was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother.
