She is the beloved wife of the late Oakley Hacker; devoted mother to Royce Hacker and his wife Joann, and Joan Cavanaugh and her husband Daniel; dear sister to Nell Moorrison, DeLida Cropper, Max Cobb, and the late Rhoda Gilbert and Susan Cobb; cherished grandmother of Daniel, Jr., David, and Timothy; and caring great grandmother to Shana and Meara. Stella greatly enjoyed gardening and quilting.
