Stefanie “Stef” Bradbury Player, 29, passed away on January 24, 2014 in the loving arms of her wife, Nikolene Bradbury Player, in Westminster, Colorado after four months of valiant fighting against Pancreatic Cancer.
She was born on May 18, 1984 in Murray, Utah to Olan Kent Player and Maria Teresa Tenorio De Le Torre Player. Her family relocated to Roswell, Georgia where Stef graduated high school in 2002. She graduated in 2010 from Southern Utah University with a double major bachelor’s degree in English and Theatre Arts and married her college sweetheart, Nikolene Bradbury, on January 18, 2014 after a happy six and one-half years together. Stef was a talented, energetic, dedicated and loving English and Drama teacher for two years at Fort Lupton High School in Fort Lupton, Colorado. She had also taught English at Mountain View High School in Orem, Utah. Stef had an immense passion for life and for the theatre arts and singing; she was a successful voice teacher, had her own performing arts company and provided lessons to students for over ten years. Her hobbies included: attending theatre performances, concerts, sporting events, and the movies; hiking, dancing, bike riding and spending time at home with her wife and their sweet dog, Trigger. Stef was a talented writer, singer, dancer and teacher; she was able to find the art and beauty in everything. She was a tender, loving soul and was a wonderful wife, sister, daughter, granddaughter niece and aunt.
Stef is survived by her wife, Nikolene, her parents, Kent and Teresa, her older sister, Tanya, her two younger brothers, Joseph and Daniel, her dog, Trigger, six nieces and nephews, and many other loving family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, her baby brother, David and her sweet puppy, Birdie.
