During the year of our Lord 1950 July 6th, in Havre de Grace Maryland, Star B. Mallory was born to Eliza Elizabeth Mallory. Star began her education in the Maryland School System until the age of eleven where she continued her education in the New York City Public School System and graduated from Jamaica High School. It was at Jamaica High School, that she earned a full scholarship to Albany State University.
It was at an early age then star was baptized and filled with the holy ghost and began her spiritual journey under the leadership of Bishop Marion Lockett at Christ Pentecostal Temple. Star later became involved in many activities in the church and was especially gifted in the music ministry.
Star had a thirst for increasing her knowledge which led her to attend Bible School at Christ Church International under Bishop Joseph Williams. Star loved the Lord and believed in the power of prayer and later made that her new church home where she was loved by many.
God blessed Star to relocate to Virginia Beach in August 2018 to be closer to family and friends. She started a weekly prayer group in her complex. After moving she immediately connected herself to Faith Deliverance Christian Center under the leadership of Pastor Sharon Riley. Star had just completed the new members class and was very excited about attending their Bible school.
On one of her many trips home she took sick. On December 17th 2018 Star departed this earth to be with the Lord and leaves to cherish her memory: her sister Rosalyn Diggs and brother-in-law Kelvin; two nephews: Devin (Aryn, Aden); Marcus (Cameron, Corey); one niece: Denaé; spiritual daughter: Yolanda D. Stukes; her very dear friend: Teresa McDowell; her childhood friend: Maria Pease; her god son: Callan Pease and goddaughter Nicole along with a host of family and friends.
