Stanton L. Cary, 56 of Dakota died Saturday, February 2, 2013, at his home. Born February 13, 1956, in Freeport he was the son of William and Elaine (Last) Cary.
He was a 1975 graduate of Winnebago High School. Stanton was a member of Rock Grove Lutheran Church prior to its closing.
Surviving are four brothers Ron Pottratz of Pecatonica, Joseph (Kristine) Pottratz of Stevens Point, WI, Brandon Cary of Freeport, Wesley Cary of Oregon; two sisters Norma (Richard) Doty of Pecatonica, Linda Howard of Pecatonica; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, sisters Candice Diestelmeier, and Donna Swift.
