Stanley W. Astor, Sr., of Roebling, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday at the age of 67. He worked for and retired from Occidental Chemical Corporation in 2003. Stan loved being outdoors and he enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends. He enjoyed tending to his tomatoes and peppers in his garden in Roebling and Delaware.

He and Laura enjoyed spending time at their house in Delaware, where he enjoyed crabbing, clamming and fishing. His buddy, his beloved dog Bear, was along with him on many journeys. Stan was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Marion; his siblings Peter and Joan Polumbo, and a son: Stanley, Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Laura A. (Nee: Ptaszenski) and his children: Tracy Carbonell (Jason), Tony (Dawn), Jeremy (Stacy); grandchildren: Damien, Anthony, Jr. (Ashely), Matthew, Joshua Astor: Courtney Field (Jacob), Hailey, Sierra, Jeremy, Jr., Serenity, Jaeden; great-grandchildren: Brooklyn, Anthony, III, Eleina, Carson. He is also survived by his siblings Elwood (Joan), Richard, Sr. (Yvonne), Arlene (Carl Gallagher) his mother in law Regina Ptaszenski and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
