Stanley P. Glowatz, 87 of Lavallette, NJ and New Smyrna Beach, FL died on Thursday September 29, 2011 at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ. Born in Goshen, NY he lived in Middletown, NY before moving to Lavallette in 1983. Mr. Glowatz served in the US Army during WWII.
He was a Barber with the Middletown Psychiatric Center in New York for 44 years. He was a lifelong member of the McQuoids Fire Company in Middletown, NY. Predeceased by his wife Doris Irene (Wear) and his sister Lucy Eitel. Surviving are his two sons William and his wife Joan of Point Pleasant, NJ and Stephen of Scranton, PA, one sister Grace Weissert and her husband Joseph of Middletown, NY, two grandchildren John W. and Alice R.,his niece Pattie Stulir of Vestal, NY and also several nieces and nephews.
