Stanley Oren Gregory, age 85, of Cassopolis, died peacefully in the Center for Hospice Care in Elkhart. He was born January 24, 1933 in Des Moines, Iowa, the only child of Oren and Inez Gregory. He married Sharon Kay Lathrum June 28, 1958 in Des Moines, Iowa.
She survives.Stanley was an avid water skier and enjoyed spending as much time on the water as possible. In the winter, he enjoyed cross country skiing. He was always working on his entertainment center or computers. Stanley will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Sharon Gregory of Cassopolis; two daughters, Janet (Peter) Anwar of Elmhurst, Illinois, Laura (James) Pitrak of Western Springs, Illinois; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Linda Sue Smith.
