Stanley Howard Walls, 64, Clarksburg, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born January 10, 1947 in Grafton the son of the late Howard Alston Walls and Laurel Beatrice Lemmon Walls. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Patricia “Patsy” Snodgrass Walls whom he married August 15, 1969. In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters: Tracy Strother and husband Keith of Morgantown and Trisha Miller and husband John of Marietta, Ohio: two grandchildren: Delia Strother and Zoey Miller; one sister: Norma Lucas of Grafton; brother and sister-in-law: Barbara and Ed Nicholson of Bethesda, MD; several nieces and nephews. He most recently worked as a consultant in the field of hazardous materials and he was Vice President/Secretary of MWI LTD, he was plant chemist at Philips Lighting Co. where he was the Hazardous Materials Manager. He was plant manager of Multi Color Class Inc. in San Antonio TX., and also worked at Louie Glass Co, WV Flat Glass Co., Hordis Glass and Fourco Glass Co and was a teacher for the Taylor Co. Board of Education. Stanley liked to make stained glass; he enjoyed the outdoors, photography, woodworking, black powder weapons, music, growing orchids and reading. He was a graduate of West Virginia University where he was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Grafton. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed.
