Stanley was also a farrier and blacksmith. He had previously trained race horses.
He is survived by his wife; Karen Hundley Holt; mother, Maxine Kirkpatrick Holt; siblings; Jerry Holt, Rick Holt, Greg Holt, Regi Holt Kate, Vickie Holt; nieces and nephews; Kim, Shane, Gavin, Nick, Gabrielle, Zoe, Cody, Ashley, Zachary, Sherry, and Shelly. Father and mother-in-law, Raymond and Barbara Hundley; Sisters-in-law; Brenda Durand & Sherri Blondiau and many special friends.
He was preceded by his son Eric Holt in 1999 and father Victor G. Holt.
