Stanley Eugene “Fly Guy” Barlow was born on July 17, 1964 at Clay Memorial Hospital in Green Cove Springs, FL, to James Barlow, Jr. and Viola Zeigler Barlow.
He was the third oldest of five children. Stanley graduated from Clay High School, class of 1982. After graduation, he joined the United States Army. When he returned home, he started his career as a landscaper, which was his passion.
Stanley was preceded in death by his father, James Barlow, Jr.
Stanley is survived by his mother, Viola Zeigler Barlow; brother, James Barlow, III; sisters, Mary (Leo) Holland, Lisa Barlow and LaQuita Barlow; nephews, Detrick (Cristina) Barlow, Jamaal Cobbert, Royce Lee, Jr., Quentin Jenkins and Lazeal Lee; nieces, Chanice Lee, NyKia Oxendine and Jadiss Holland; life partner, Mona Lisa Dockery; best friend, Kevin Presha; step-sons, La’Tavior (Tyneisha) Stephens and Jer’Corey (Elaine) Dockery; aunts, many cousins and friends.
