Details: Stanley D. Smith, 60, a 35 year resident of Ellicott City formally of Catonsville, died February 7 at the Gilchrist Hospice Care in Columbia. Mr. Smith was born April 12, 1952 in Baltimore to the late Walter R. Smith Jr. and Rosalie C. Jones of Westminister. He worked as a contractor in construction till his illness in 2009. He enjoyed motorcycle and NASCAR racing. He is survived by 2 brothers Walter R. Smith III of Charles Co. Md., Philip M. Smith of Pasadena, TX. and Sharon L. Gilliam of GA. also survived by several nieces and nephews.
