Stanley A. “Buddy” Stephens, Sr., 93, of Dorchester, widower of Virginia Williams Stephens, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 19, 2023.
Stanley was born on April 23, 1930, in Dorchester a son of the late Edward Keller and Laura Iduna Clayton Stephens. He retired from the South Carolina National Guard and SCE&G. He was a member of Zion United Methodist Church, Dorchester Ramblers Square Dancing group and an avid bottle collector.
Surviving is his son, Stanley A. “Stan” (Susie) Stephens; grandchildren, Tracy (Jaye) Buras, Allen Stephens and Lindsey Stephens; four great-grandchildren and a special friend, Barbara Garrett.
