Stanford “Stan” Mangham, Sr., age 92, of Moody, AL passed away on June 14, 2017. Mr. Mangham proudly served his country from 1943-1946 as a medic during WWII while in the Navy before being honorably discharged. He was the honored recipient of an Honor Flight in Washington DC for US WWII veterans. He graduated from Georgia Tech with a Bachelor in mechanical engineering. Mr. Mangham was the proud owner of Mangham Associates; he was a professional sales engineer. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years, Jennie Mangham; his parents and five siblings. Mr. Mangham is survived by his children, Stan M. Mangham (Pam), Terri M. Clifton (Ronnie) and Christy M. George (Monty); he also leaves behind seven beloved grandchildren and four great grandchildren; numerous beloved nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family of Mr. Mangham would like to give a special “Thank you” to his special caregivers and Alacare Hospice’s for their kindness and honorable service.
