Stacy Marie Thomas passed away in her home September 15, 2017 in Colorado Springs. She was born September 17, 1973 in Denver, Co. to William “Bill” Guy and Mary Ann (Brown) Thomas. She was just 2 days shy of her 44th birthday.
Stacy was a very outgoing person and made a friend in all she met. She was currently working as a Training Manager at Luce Research, and had been for several years.
Stacy was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis on March 15, 2005. She participated in many of the MS walks to help raise money and awareness for this disease. You could often find her in places of shelters helping those in need and the homeless. She loved the outdoors and camping with family. Her favorite thing to do was fishing with her dad and sister.
You could also find her watching the Green Bay Packers while eating Green M&M’s! Her favorite colors were, of course, Green & Yellow.
She loved elephants and butterflies, her good friends, and her friends at Luce, but most of all, her family and extended family, Sheila and Dave and the rest of the Higbee family. Her sister was her best friend; her nieces, Haylee and Kayla, were like her own and she spend every Wednesday at her parents with her grandmother Frances and they both enjoyed their “Spa-Day” together. Stacy was so close with her brother-in-law that she would often tell others that she his 2nd wife
Stacy waits for her parents, Bill & Mary; her sister, Michelle and brother-in-law, Gary; her nieces, Haylee & Kayla; her grandmother, Frances Werdal; all of Gary’s family; and her step-children, TaRon and Tramyra.
