Stacey A. Livingston, 52, a former Meredosia resident, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 4, 2012.
She was born Feb. 24, 1960, the daughter of James A. and Betty L. Allen Smith. She married Michael Livingston on May 25, 1989 in Meredosia, and he survives.
She is also survived by her mother, Betty L. Crow of Meredosia; two sons, Michael B. (Jennifer) Smith of Vandalia, MO, and Dallas A. (Ashley) Livingston of Meredosia; four grandchildren; one brother, James A. (Sarah) Jackson of Versailles; four sisters, Carman (Mark) Cooley of Arenzville, Shelly Lacy and Dodi (Roger) Luckett, both of Meredosia, and Linda Lou Smith. She was preceded in death by her father, James Smith; step-father, George H, Crow; a daughter, Andrea Lynette Livingston; and a brother, Jack Smith.
Mrs. Livingston worked many years at Bound to Stay Bound in Jacksonville, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Versailles. She loved her beloved dog, Danny Girl. Her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren.
