Obituary of Sr. Musgrove
Mr. Musgrove died Friday, March 26,2004 at Morehouse General Hospital. He is a retired employee of International Paper Company. Mr. Musgrove was a member of Concord Primitive Baptist Church. He also enjoyed gardening.
Preceded in death by his parents, Mary Catherine and M.E. Musgrove; wife, Mae Irene Thompson; daughter, Teresa Roxanne Barton; great grandson, Trapper John Atkins; daughter in law, Velda Moore Musgrove; Sisters, Pearlene Musgrove Mardis and Genova Faye Musgrove; brothers, Bill Musgrove, Mark Musgrove and Tom Musgrove.
Survivors include: three
daughters, Catherine Harrell and husband Lloyd of Bastrop,LA, Elizabeth “Lollie” Elkins and husband Larry of Bastrop, LA, Joyce Dupree and husband Shorty of Ville Platte; five sons, George “Sam” Musgrove ,Jr. of Bastrop, LA, Bobby Musgrove of Bastrop, LA, Johnny Musgrove and wife Fredia of Bastrop,LA, Larry Musgrove and wife Elva of Bastrop, LA and Jerry Musgrove and wife Ginger of Collinston, LA.; sister, Geneva Pettis of Bastrop, LA.; and brother, Jake Musgrove of Bastrop,LA.; fifty grandchildren, fiftyeight great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
