Sister Mary Olivieri, OSF, age 86, member of the Sisters of St. Francis of Mary Immaculate, Joliet, IL, died Sunday, August 17, 2014. Sister was born in Mansfield, Ohio, the daughter of Giuseppe and Domenica Travaglini Olivieri. Sister Mary (Dominica) made her vows on August 12, 1959. She was a teacher, principal, business manager, secretary, and pastoral minister in many states including in Columbus at BishopReadyHigh School, Immaculate Conception Parish, and St. Cecilia Parish. Sister lived at Seton Square North and for the last two years was in residence at Mohun Health Care Center. Predeceased by her parents; sister, Lucy Castorano Eckstein; and brother, Nick, Sister Mary is survived by her sister, Sister Rose Olivieri, RSM; her sister-in-law, Barbara Olivieri; and many devoted nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, and the Sisters of St. Francis of Mary Immaculate, 1433 Essington Rd., Joliet, IL 60435.
