Sister Aurora Maria Salutillo, OSB, a member of the Benedictines of Jesus Crucified of the Monastery of the Glorious Cross, 61 Burban Drive, Branford passed away January 21, 2016 in St. Mary’s Home, West Hartford. Born in the Philippines on Jan. 16, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Teodoro and Juliana Armas Salutillo. Sister entered the religious order in 1960 and made her perpetual profession in 1968. She was a member of the community at Regina Mundi Priory in Devon, PA before coming to Branford. She is survived by two sisters, Anita S. (Cecelio) Felix of Rancho Murieta, CA. and Corazon S. (Alwyn) Wynter in Australia, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Teodoro Salutillo Jr.
