Sophie Daniels, 96, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away on October 27, 2019, in Stuart, Florida.
Sophie was born in Middletown, Connecticut. She remained in Connecticut, moving to Portland, where she remained until retiring to Port St. Lucie, Florida many years ago.
Prior to retirement, Sophie worked as a secretary and an office manager. After retirement, Sophie became an accomplished and award-winning artist. She also enjoyed golf, playing cards, and bingo with her friends. Sophie will be greatly missed.
Sophie was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Monroe Daniels, and her longtime companion Mel Johnson. She is survived by her children Peter Daniels and his wife Linda, and Carol Armstrong and her husband Tom, and Tom Daniels and his wife Donna; grandchildren Casey Reynolds, Dylan Armstrong, Melissa Loomis, and Matthew Daniels; great-grandchildren Brayden, Ava, Helene, Caroline, Eleanor, and William; and her brother Ted Kendzior and his wife Barbara.
