Sophie (Derosier) Blanchette, 95 of Plainville, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2011 at Apple Rehab Farmington Valley in Plainville. She is reunited with her late husband Eddie Blanchette who predeceased her in 1994 on what would have been their 79th wedding anniversary. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Joanne and Morris (Bob) Hart of Plainville; her three sons and daughters-in-law, Edward and June Blanchette of Plainville, Gilman and Barbara Blanchette of Southington and Vernon and Nancy Blanchette of Bristol. She also leaves 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
