Sophia (Ellison) Bencike 91, passed away Saturday, September
10, 2011 at 11:32am in Union Hospital of Clinton. She was born
May 21, 1920 to Joseph Bencike, and Sophie Swansa Bencike
in Blanford, Indiana. She worked for Kingams Packing in
Indianapolis, Indiana and was also a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sons; Tony Matney,
Mike Maynard Ellison. Sisters; Mary Lombino, and Anna Bencike,
and a brother; Joe Bencike.
She is survived by two daughters; Bernice Kelly of Monrovia,
Indiana, and Frieda Matney Getche of Rockville, Indiana. A
son; Larry Elllison of Austria. Brother; Paul Bencike of
Greenwood, Indiana, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren,
and nieces and nephews.
