Dupuy Fuqua, affectionately called Nanny, Fie, and Sophie, breathed a sigh of release and relief and went to Heaven to join the many whom had gone before her. She was 98, born December 3, 1913 in Effie, Louisiana. She is survived by a son and daughterinlaw, A. Don and Gloria Fuqua daughterinlaw, Justine Reeves nine grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and four greatgreat grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris E. Fuqua a son, Eugene infant daughter, Geraldine two sisters and three brothers.
