Sonja Yvonne (Robbins) Vann, 76, of Monroe, MI went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 after a brief illness. Sonja was born May 26, 1945 in Keokee, VA to Curtis Franklin and Ressie Mae (Penley) Robbins. She then worked for the City of Taylor Department of Senior Services until her retirement in 2006. Sonja had most recently been serving as a caregiver with Visiting Angels of Monroe. She loved watching the Hallmark Channel, reading, crocheting and playing her piano. Her favorite times were those spent with family and watching her grandkids at their sporting events. Her great grandchildren were the light of her life and she loved watching them grow. She is survived by her two daughters: Stephanie (Donnie) Fuller and Tracie (Marc) Scibilia; Bonus daughters: Shannon, Megan and Jillian; Grandchildren: Donald Fuller, Donicia (Jared) Smythe, Chelsea Steffen, Rachel (Justin) Cloum, Sydnee (Jacob) Revels, Aleah Scibilia, Nathan Begley, Abbie Begley and Audrey Scibilia; Great Grandchildren: Moriah, Isla, Elijah, Easton, Serenity, Liam, Efrem and Emma; and loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
