Our Yei, Soeung Som, was born February, 1948 in Vietnam. At the age of 5 she lost her father in a jeep accident and had to move in with her aunt in Cambodia, who was a royal dance instructor at the royal palace . While living with her aunt, she studied to become a dancer and lived there until she had to move back to the country to help her mother raise her younger siblings. Yei ended up working at our Thah’s farm where they met and eventually had 6 kids; Roeun Ros, Kleung Ros, Ratt Ros, Reth Ros, Ramnn Ros, Reoum Ros.
