Sister Cecilia (Elaine Cecilia) Rose, age 88, died January 17, 2014 at Villa St. Michael in Emmitsburg, Maryland. She was born on April 16, 1925 in Point Marion, Pennsylvania. Sister Cecilia was the first of two children born to Frederick and Yvonne (Bellette) Rose. Sister Cecilia’s sister was a Mission Helper of the Sacred Heart.
Sister Cecilia joined the Daughters of Charity on December 5, 1944 in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Her first mission began in 1945 at St.
Sister Cecilia was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Sister Margery Rose, M.H.S. H. She is survived by cousins and her Sisters in Community.
