She was born on July 9, 1922 in Ferdinand, IN to Albert J. and Anna Wilmes Schipp and was baptized Edna Carolyn.
Sister Annette entered the Congregation of the Sisters of Providence on Jan. 6, 1940 and professed Final Vows on Aug. 15, 1948.
Of her 81 years as a Sister of Providence, she ministered for 49 years in education in elementary schools in Indiana and Illinois. She was principal for six years at Good Shepherd in Evansville, IN.
Sister Annette was, in every way, a beautiful person.
Sister Annette is survived by nieces and nephews.
The wake is on Wednesday, July 21, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
