Silvano G. Lievore, 91, of Elkhart, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born in Carré, Italy to the late Guiseppe and Maria Dalle (Carbonare) Lievore.
He is survived by his loving wife, Tania Lievore, with whom he has spent 65 wonderful years of marriage beside. Silvano is also survived by his daughter, Anna (Robert) White; son, Robert (Jeanette) Lievore; sisters, Caterina Coltro and Elda Lievore-Benetti; eight grandchildren, Cory White, Chantel Marsh, Mathew Lievore, Sam Lievore, Nikki White, Nicholas Lievore, Jessica Lievore, and Sophia Lievore; and four great grandchildren, Emma, Scarlett, Giada, and Harvey. Silvano is preceded in death by his parents; son, Danny Lievore; and brother Gislano Lievore.
Silvano worked as a plant superintendent for Miller Steel before retiring in 1987. He married the love of his life, Tania Pasichnichenko, in Sydney, Australia in 1954. He was an active member of the North Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Silvano was a hard-working man who never met a stranger and would always be willing to take the time to help those in need. He was loved by many and treated everyone as if they were family with unyielding hospitality. Silvano’s sense of humor, genuine personality, and kind smile will be missed by his family and friends.
