Sigrid H. Jackson, 81, of Terre Haute, passed away on October 15, 2020. She was born on August 31, 1939 to Erich and Johanna Kuhl in Stettin, Germany. She retired from the main office at Terre Haute South High School in 2002. Sigrid is preceded in death her parents; husband, Jerry Jackson, who died February 4, 2016; brother, Jorg Kuhl, and son-in-law, Jim Bogle. She is survived by her daughters, Trudy Lowe (Vic), Dianne Bogle, Malinda Cook (Don), grandchildren, Kristel (Bill) Vasas, Kassie (Shawn) Forman, Kelsie (Garrett) Vandeventer, Eli Lowe, Maddy (Dan) Bruckner, Jacqualynn (Ian) Titus, Nathan Bogle, Dylan (Jennifer) Bentley, and Gabby Bentley; 14 great-grandchildren. Sigrid was the author of “East German Girl” an autobiography. Sigrid was good friends with the late Eva Kor. She was a devoted Christian and was a spunky lady with a funny wit and zest for life. She will be missed by her entire family.
