Sidney Jackson, 70, of Elkhart, passed away Friday, Dec. 9, 2011, at Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born on Oct. 22, 1941, in Shelby, Miss., to the late Frank and Susie Jackson. He married Minnie Pearl Leamons. They divorced. He married Irene “Margaret” Jackson. She passed in 2009. He married Katina Yvette Coleman, and she survives, as well as sons Sidney Jackson, Robert (Ethel) Jackson, Terry Jackson and Brian Danner; daughters Crystal (Willie) Kellybrew, Lucretia Jackson-Kamm and Terri Jackson; 25 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother Robert (Verdie) Jackson; niece Shellaine Young; nephew Damonte’ Young; special daughter-in-law Michelle Suggs; and a host of other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brothers John, Bo, Frank Jr. and Jack Jackson and sisters Mattie and Rosie.
Sidney worked for over 40 years as an automobile detailer, including Jordan Ford, Tom Naquin and Cunningham Lincoln-Mercury.
