It is with a heavy heart that we announce that on December 14, 2020, God called home our beloved Shranda Lynette Smith. She was born on to Phyllis Kellogg on June 8, 1973 in Decatur, Alabama.
She was a graduate of Austin High School. Shranda worked for Dutch Quality/Wayne Farms for eight years.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Kellogg and her grandfather, Lorenzo McDay.
Shranda leaves to cherish her memory: her sisters, Cassandra Garth, Chiandti Reynolds; two brothers, Montoya Kellogg, and Mario Kellogg; her grandmother, Gurnice McDay all of Decatur; aunts, Lavine (Carl) Bell, Ella Ruth Bankhead, Jacquline McDay, Florence (Jerry) Andersson; uncles, David (Blanche) Hill, Robie (Sandra) Smith, Chester McDay and Sidney (Shirley) Smith; her nieces, Shayla Smith, Titauna Reynolds, Mercedes Mason and Cassidy Smith; nephews, Lamarcus Smith and John Reynolds III, Montrevion D. Kellogg, Montoya Malek Kellogg, Jr.; and a host of great nieces and great nephews; a “favorite” great nephew, Davion White; a favorite special friend, Benitha Mass, other relatives and friends.
