Shirleymay V. West, 85, of Peru, formerly of West Allis, WI, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2011, at her home. Mrs. West was born February 21, 1926, in Milwaukee, WI to Guy and Mable (Wright) Duer.
She married Arthur Drapp in 1946. He passed away in 1968. She married Oliver West in 1973. He passed away in 1980. Mrs. West was a member of the First United Methodist Church of West Allis and a member of the Schuester Club. Locally, she was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in LaSalle.
Survivors include her son, Dennis Drapp of Peru, IN; her daughter, Susan (Gary) Mowbray of Peru, IL; four grandchildren, David Drapp, Heather Von Neumann, Heidi Von Neumann, and Michelle Mowbray and nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, David Drapp; seven brothers, and two sisters.
