Obituary of Shirley Wadsworth
Shirley M. Wadsworth, age 88, of St. Paul, MN passed away after a brief illness in the early morning of January 21, 2017. She is preceded in death by her husband Henry J. Wadsworth Sr., parents Julius and Tillie Anderson, and sister Audrey Chalstrom. She is survived by her sister Donna Steffen (Darold), children Lynn Wadsworth (David Amdur), Henry J. Wadsworth Jr., Dawn Wadsworth, granddaughter Zara Amdur, many nieces and nephews. Shirley grew up on a farm near Princeton Minnesota. In 1945 she graduated from Princeton High School. Soon after she left the family farm for work in downtown Minneapolis. There she met and married the love of her life Henry J. Wadsworth Sr. She was an avid bridge player, amateur genealogist, and gardener. She will be missed by all who knew her. Service 3:30PM Sunday, January 29th, at Macalester-Plymouth United Church, 1658 Lincoln Ave, St. Paul, MN 55105. at church 1 hour before the service.
