A Celebration of Life for Shirley W. Bosarge, age 74, of Carriere, MS, who passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022, at home surrounded by her loving family, and services will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at 12:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.Visitation will be Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.Rev. Seth Stanley will officiate the service, assisted by Dr. Tony Lambert.A native of Pensacola, FL, she lived in Terrytown, LA, before moving to Carriere, MS. Shirley was retired from Entergy as a Billing Coordinator and a member of First Baptist Church of Picayune. She loved to see the moon, and enjoyed butterflies, horses, and hummingbirds. Shirley loved to line dance. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Williams and Mary Lou McCory Williams; and her brother, David Williams.Left to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted husband of 55 years , Nickey Bosarge; her son, Kenneth (Shannon) Bosarge; her grandchildren, Ash (Devin) Cobb, and Tyler (Jaden) Bosarge; her brothers and sisters, Howard (Peggy) Williams, Richard (Mary) Williams, Faye (Johnny) Coludrovich, Brenda (Billy) Parker, and Timmy (Sharon) Williams; her brother in laws and sister in laws, Buddy Bosarge, Rick (Kathy) Bosarge, Dina (Roger) Ethridge, Jimmy Bosarge, Marion (Kathy) Bosarge, and Vickie (David) Reese; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.In lieu of flowers, Contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in Memory of Shirley, woundedwarriorproject.org .
