Shirley Ruth Cram, 89 of Lavallette, N.J., passed away Friday October 5, 2018. Shirley was born to the late Herbert and Ruth Dittemer on July 20, 1929. She was a loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother. She was a graduate of Linden High School, and later attended Drake Business College and was employed in various secretarial positions until her retirement from Wells Fargo Bank in 1994. Shirley was a long time member of the Lavallette Yacht Club. She belonged to the Ocean County Artist Guild where she enjoyed her lifelong interest in art.
She was also an avid gardener and took great pride in her magnificent rhododendron and hollyhocks. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Shirley was predeceased by her parents, son, Brian R. Cram; daughter, Caryn Lee Hanson; brother, Robert Dittemer and son in law, Barry Hanson. Shirley is survived by her husband of 68 years, Noel Cram; daughter, Denise Cram of Yardley, Pennsylvania; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
