Shirley Poe Holland, age 66, of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at her residence.
Born December 26, 1943, in Magoffin County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late, Kellie and Carrie Bailey Holland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James -J. D.- Poe, and one brother, Cread Holland.
She is survived by two sons, James Kellie (Ellen) Poe and Michael (Rhonda) Poe; one brother, Clinton (Rose) Holland; one sister-in-law, Betty Holland, all of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; and a special cousin, Printha Poe of Salyersville, Kentucky.
Shirley retired from Jockey International in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.
