Shirley L. Phemister, 71, of O’Fallon, Ill., born October 21, 1935 in Marion, Ill., died Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at Rosewood Care Center, Swansea, Ill. Shirley was a member of 1st Baptist Church of O’Fallon and had been in the housekeeping department at Pet Dairy.
She was preceded in death by her parents Howard & Marion, nee Ferres, Brush, husband Ronald D. Phemister, a brother, Kenneth Brush, in infancy, and a brother and sister-in-law James Robert & Normalene Brush. Shirley is survived by 2 daughters, Marianne & Russ Smalley of O’Fallon, Ill., Vicki & Bill Gower of Marion, Ill., grandchildren; Jeremy & Brianna Gower of Marion, Ill., Kyle and Jenna Smalley of O’Fallon, Ill. and a sister Jerry and Pat Emery of Marion, Ill.
