Shirley is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 49 years, Donald (Donnie) M. Davis, two children, Denise Hicks and Daniel Davis along with his wife Teresa of Dillwyn, VA; four grandchildren, Derick Hicks, Travis Hicks and his wife Brittani, Matthew and Bryson Davis; three brothers, Kenneth Wharam of Florida, Steve Wharam and his wife Delores of Scottsville, William (Junior) Wharam and his wife Peggy of Earlysville and a sister, Virginia Ann Higgins of Scottsville. Shirley is also survived by numerous devoted nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends that have always been by her side. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, William R. Wharam and Annie Moses Wharam.
