Shirley Meier (maiden name Davia), 80, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2015 in Scottsdale, Arizona after a long illness. Shirley was born and raised in Hurley, Wisconsin to Harry and Alice (Frezell) Davia. Shirley is survived by her four children and nine grandchildren. While raising four children, she also worked full-time at SRP for twenty years and retired in 2000. During her retirement, Shirley volunteered at Scottsdale Memorial Hospital for ten years. Shirley was a generous and loving individual who embraced life and was passionate about her family.
