HILLSBOROUGH Mrs. Shirley McLamb Allen, 78, of Hillsborough peacefully passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015.
Mrs. Allen was born in Johnston County to the late Valton McLamb and Annie Irene Toler McLamb. She retired from Edward Weck and Company, Inc.
She will be greatly missed by her loving children and grandchildren; son, Billy Allen of Hillsborough; five daughters, Diane Baker of Rougemont, Deborah Rape and husband, Kevin of Peachland, Peggy Mitchell and husband, Steve of Creedmoor, Sheila Goins of Hillsborough and Christy Lamb of Hurdle Mills; four brothers, Don McLamb, Jack McLamb, Charles McLamb and Steve McLamb; two sisters, Paulette Fuller and Sharon “Susie” Wyles; 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
