Shirley Marie (Sullivan) Swain, 88, of Manchester, loving wife of 68 years to Edward Swain Jr., went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at home. She was born on February 1, 1928 in Springfield, MA daughter of the late Almet E. Sullivan Sr. and Dorothy (Wilson) Sullivan. Shirley was a graduate of Manchester High School, Class of 1946 and had been a resident of Manchester for over 75 years. Prior to her retirement, she was employed for over 30 years at Manchester Memorial Hospital.
