Winsted –Veronesi – Shirley M. Veronesi, 91, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2019 with her daughter, Shirley by her side. She was the devoted wife of the late Dominic Veronesi. Born September 10, 1928 in Winsted; the daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Brown) Boutin. Shirley had a big, beautiful personality and lived life to the fullest often even dancing on tables. She loved bingo, gambling and spending time with her beloved family. She also had a special connection with Mickey Mouse; they were both born in 1928 and she got to visit Disney on her 80th birthday. She is survived by her children, Shirley Murphy and husband Darryl of Torrington, Vanessa Thrall of FL, Dominic Veronesi, Jr., and wife Debora of FL and Peter Veronesi and wife Dena of OR; grandchildren, Keith Murphy and wife Beth of Harwinton, Shane Thrall and wife April of East Hartland, Dominica Thrall of NH, Anthony Veronesi and wife Erin of FL, Domonic Veronesi of OR and Amanda Veronesi of OR; 8 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by ten siblings.
