Shirley J. Fraizer, age 74 of Cardington passed away Wednesday March 22, 2017 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on November 11, 1942 to the late Clarence and Sybil (Bridinger) Higgins. Shirley worked as a waitress for many years and she loved to cook. She took great pride in her yardwork and gardening. Shirley’s specialty was her bread and butter pickles. She enjoyed having her grandchildren around as they brightened her life. Shirley was a friend to everyone. Shirley is survived by her six children; Cheryl (Rich Geary) Fultz of Galion, Teresa (Adam Ray) Shears of Mount Gilead, Rick Pine of Cardington, Teri Sue Kaelber of Mount Gilead, Tina Pine of Westerville, and Kim Pine of Marion. Seven siblings Carol Crislip of Alliance, Donnie Higgins of Milwaukee, WI, Eddie Higgins of Cardington, Betty Lou Elliot of Cardington, Jimmy Higgins of Cardington, Larry Higgins of Mount Gilead, and Debbie Nasiatka of Mount Gilead. 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by one brother Gary Higgins and a son Roger Bartley.
