Shirley Jean Crow passed away on January 4, 2022 after a long battle with cancer. She was born to Thomas and Mildred Henry on July 26, 1949, in Denver, CO. After graduating from East High School in Denver she received her bachelor’s degree in Home Economics from the University of Northern Colorado, in Greeley, CO. Shirley married Dennis Crow in January 1971. Dennis and Shirley moved to Westcliffe following her graduation where Shirley worked as a waitress at the Red Garter and then as a teacher at Custer County Schools. In December of 1972, they welcomed home their first born, Dennis Crow II. In July 1976, they welcome their second born, Linda Crow. Shirley has worked as a dietician, an insurance agent, a fashion design teacher at Pueblo College of Business. She taught developmentally disabled adults how to manage finances, cook and take care of themselves at Pueblo Community College.
