Shirley J. Vieira, 66, of Jacksonville, died Monday, March 2, 2015, at her home.
She was born March 8, 1948, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Robert S. and Helen I. Scholes Vieira, Sr.
She is survived by two brothers and three sisters, Robert (Ruth) Vieira, Jr. of Paris, Betty J. Burrow of Walton, KY, James (Darlene) Vieira, Sr. of Edgewood, KY, Nola Vieira of Jacksonville and Bonnie Shinn (fiancé Wayne Bryant) of Corbin, KY; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Frances Cobb and Mary Cannon.
Shirley attended Pathway School and had worked at Elm City Center. She was very helpful around the house, and enjoyed tidying things up. She loved jewelry, and was happy-go-lucky. She had a golden heart.
