Shirley Irene Pjura, 93, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Paul Pjura, passed away on February 14, 2022. Born on November 23, 1928 in Bridgeport, CT, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Bennett) Lacavalle.
Shirley worked for many years at Milford hospital as a switchboard operator before her retirement.
Shirley is survived by her children, Donna (Joe) Volanth, Gary Pjura, and Kathy Pjura; her grandson, Arthur Volanth; and her caregivers and family friends, Serena Mensik, Laurie Spadaccino and Elaine Cooper.
