Shirley Swango, 87, of Ottawa, died April 13, 2010 at Maple Lawn Health Center in Eureka.
Shirley was born January 10, 1923 in Ottawa to Henry and Sarah (Ossinger) Monroe. She married Willis Swango, Jr. July 19, 1941 in Missouri. He died December 3, 2004. She farmed with her husband for 30 years.
She is survived by one daughter, Connie (Gary) Auen of Eureka and one daughter- in- law, Sharon Swango of Marseilles; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willis and one son, James Swango.
