Shirley was preceded in death by her parents John Hester and Sallie Hester; her husband, Bobby Bates and son, Troy Butler. She is survived by her son, Roy Butler; her daughter Kim Slay (Doug); her brother, Eugene Hester (Patsy); her Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and nephews. Shirley was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Sister. She was very involved with her family and loved them with all of heart. She had a heart of gold and held a presence in any room she was in.
